Privacy Policy

Standards, codes and regulations are checked against their issuing bodies, product values against the named data sheet and prices against the dated source named in the sentence; see our methodology and fact-checking.

This privacy policy explains what the forms on ConstructionChemicals.net collect, why, who receives a request, how long it is kept and how to see, correct or delete it. Reading any page needs no account, no login and no form.

ConstructionChemicals.net is an independent, vendor-neutral reference, and it sells no product. Only 2 of the 4 forms send data outside the editorial team: the applicator match request and the supplier quote request. Every page of the reference on construction chemicals works without any form.

What Data Do the ConstructionChemicals.net Forms Collect?#

The site collects only what you type into one of its four forms, plus the page you sent it from and the time you sent it. No form asks for payment data, because the site sells nothing and takes no payment. No form creates an account or a password. Each submission is stored with two pieces of metadata, the source page and the time of sending, so the editorial team can see which page a request came from.

Table 1 compares the 4 forms by the fields you enter, the metadata stored with them, their purpose and whether the data leaves the editorial team.

Why Is Form Data Used?#

The 3 purposes are listed below.

  • Passing a request: the applicator match and the supplier quote request are passed to independent applicators or independent suppliers so that they can respond to the project or the specification you describe.
  • Answering or correcting: contact messages and correction notes are read by the editorial team, answered by email and, where a page holds an error, used to correct that page.

The site does not promise a reply time or a number of quotes for any request.

Who Receives an Applicator Match or Supplier Quote Request?#

An applicator match request goes to independent applicators who work with the chosen system, and a supplier quote request goes to independent suppliers; no other form leaves the editorial team. The applicator receives the project fields of Table 1 (system, structure, size, location, timing, problem description, credentials and warranty type wanted) and the email address you entered. The supplier receives the specification fields (product class, standard and class, document wanted, VOC jurisdiction, quantity, pack size, delivery country) with your email address and company.

No company is named on this page as a receiver, because no company is named as a receiver anywhere on the site. Requests go to independent applicators and suppliers. No company pays for placement; see our editorial policy.

Which form data is never passed on?#

They are not passed to applicators, suppliers or any other company. A correction note about a page is read, checked and answered by the editorial team only.

Does the Site Use Cookies, Analytics or Advertising?#

No: at publication, ConstructionChemicals.net runs no analytics service and no advertising network, and sets no analytics or advertising cookie. No tracking code from a third party runs on the pages, and no visitor profile is built from page views. The trust pages (about, methodology, editorial policy, contact and this privacy policy) and the tool pages, the calculators and the 2 request forms, never carry advertising. If the site ever adds an analytics service or an advertising network, this page changes first: it names the vendor, the cookies it sets and the data it receives, and the date at the top of the page changes before the vendor goes live.

How Long Is Form Data Kept?#

You can ask for deletion earlier. A request to delete your data before the 24 months end is handled in the same way as any other request in the rights section below, and the data is removed on request.

How Is Form Data Stored and Protected?#

Form data is stored in the site's own database and read only by the editorial team. The only processor is Cloudflare, which hosts the site, delivers its pages and operates the database that stores form submissions. Every page of ConstructionChemicals.net is served over HTTPS, so a form submission travels encrypted between your browser and the site. The forms accept submissions only: no form displays stored data back to a visitor, and a failed submission returns a generic error message that reveals nothing about other submissions.

How Can You See, Correct or Delete Your Data?#

Write to editorial@constructionchemicals.net from the address you used and say whether you want to see, correct or delete your data. The same request can also go through the contact form, with the topic set to your data. The 3 requests you can make are listed below.

  • See: you receive a copy of the fields and the metadata stored for each of your submissions.
  • Correct: a wrong field, for example an email address or a delivery country, is corrected in the stored submission.
  • Delete: your submissions are deleted before the 24 months end.

The email address you write from identifies the stored submissions.

How do you leave the newsletter?#

Send an email to editorial@constructionchemicals.net with the subscribed address, and the address is removed. Once removed, the address receives no further issue.

Changes to This Privacy Policy#

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes, such as a new vendor or a new receiver of requests, appear on this page before they take effect. Who runs the site and why it exists is explained on about ConstructionChemicals.net.
